2017 District 9800 Conference
The Conference is being be held in the City of Greater Shepparton, with pre and post conference activity in the Goulburn Valley.
There are significant discounts for early-bird registrations, for partners and for first time attendees.
Visit our website www.rotaryconference.org.au to register and take advantage of these discounts.
We are arranging high profile keynote speakers from diverse walks of life to address the theme ‘Connecting Communities - Serving Humanity’. Participants will hear how Rotarians, the community and business leaders are helping their local communities and the wider world by joining together, engaging in ideas and taking action to connect communities and lead change.
We aim not only to inform and entertain but to provide opportunities for learning about leadership, innovation and resilience.
Shepparton has been selected as the venue for the conference because of the example it provides in connecting communities; the quality of the facilities and accommodation; and the many things to do in the Goulburn Valley.
If you haven’t arranged accommodation through your club, you can also make accommodation bookings through the website - although places are filling fast so it would pay to get on to this early. There are also links to pre and post conference tour opportunities from this site.
We are planning a number of innovations, including a fresh approach to the traditional welcome function, and a gala dinner to close the conference. The conference registration fee covers both these events.
You can follow progress with the conference through the website or on our Facebook page at Rotary District 9800 Conference.
